Attendance

Please arrive at school on time – School starts at 9.00am, registers are taken at 9.15am and close at 9.30am.

Please be on time to collect your child/children – school finishes at 2.00pm.

Absence

If your child is going to be absent for whatever reason you must contact the school that morning either by phone or email:

If your child/children are going to be absent due to having an appointment please provide the school with a medical card or letter so that we can take a copy of this for school records. You can download and print one of the school medical appointment sheets below and take it to your appointment to get stamped or signed.

Leave of Absence

From September 1st 2013, the law does not give any entitlement to parents to take their child on holiday during term time. Any application for leave of absence will only be granted by the head teacher if there are exceptional circumstances that warrant granting leave. All requests for leave of absence for exceptional circumstances must be made in writing to the headteacher using the form below who will consider each individual case. Failure to attend school if the request is declined, may result in a penalty notice being issued.

Each such Penalty Notice incurs a fine of £120 to be paid within 28 days, which is reduced to £60 if paid within 21 days of the notice being served. Failure to pay a penalty notice may result in further action being taken against you.
