ENGLISH
This term we will be using the ‘Talk for writing’ approach in English.
The aim of ‘Talk for Writing’ is to develop imaginative, creative and effective writers. Children will become writers by:
Imitation, where children will listen to and learn a text.
Innovation, where children will use some of the ideas previously heard in stories/texts and make a new version with teacher support
Invention, where children will independently create their own version of the stories/text previously heard.
