Miss Hussain
Welcome to Lime Class!
The class teacher is Miss Iram Hussain and the teaching assistants are Rachel and Melika.
In our class:
- Our Teachers and TAs are committed to encouraging and putting in place reading schedules every Monday to Friday. We have a great range of books for all our pupils and are always available when they want to access and read them. Our school books are also available to borrow upon request and confirmed by the class teacher. We hope this will encourage and increase further reading knowledge for all our kids.
- Special Breakfast is every Friday morning where we have a great range of tasty and healthy breakfast foods. We also celebrate our pupils' achievements throughout the week and our rights-respecting stars with certificates.

Our Learning Summer 1
English
This term, we will be reading 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' and the BFG. Our main writing focus will be to writing an infromation report, adverts, formal letters, character descriptions, myths and legends, recounts, wanted posters, instructions and narratives.
Maths
As Mathematicians, we will focus on number and place value, Addition and Subtration, Multiplication and Division.
Make sure you go on TT Rockstars and My Maths at home to do extra practice to help you.
Science
As scientists, we are focussing on Dangers to Living Things.
History
As Historians, we will be learning about the Anglo- Saxons and Vikings.
Art
As artists, we will be focussing on Collage.
D&T
As designers, we will be focusing on Electronic Charm.
Computing
As technology users, we will look at Branching Databases and Simulations.
PSHE
As global citizens, the theme for this half term is 'Healthy Lifestyles'
RE
As global citizens, this half term, our key question is: 'What does it mean to be a Christian in Britain today?
PE
We will be focussing on Games.
Music
As musicians, we will be focusing on Singing.
Spanish
As linguists, we will be focussing on ordering food in a cafe.
