For families who require assistance with transportation, especially those who may find it challenging to arrange this themselves, there is an option to apply for transport through the Manchester local authority. To initiate this process, parents will need to complete an application form and submit it to the transport department at the council. Once the application is approved and certain criteria are met, arrangements will be made for a taxi or mini bus to be scheduled for daily pick-up and drop-off. Safe behaviour during school journeys—whether in a taxi, walking, or taking a bus—is paramount. Should any unsafe behaviour occur, it will be addressed by the school and, in extreme cases, may lead to the temporary suspension or cancellation of the transport provided by the local authority.
