We have developed various levels of response to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs and those at risk of exclusion.

Schools should contact us at the earliest opportunity to allow for discussions related to pupil needs and possible school-based interventions to take place.

We will respond to your contact within 48 hours (2 working days) and will often offer initial advice during the return phone conversation. If required, we will arrange a visit with you as soon as possible.

Please email outreach@bridgelea.manchester.sch.uk stating your school name, the year group of the child, a staff contact name, email address and telephone number.

We aim to work as flexibly as possible to meet the needs of children, schools and families and wherever possible meeting times will be arranged with this in mind.

Our Training

The Outreach Team is able to deliver a range of tailor-made Continuing Professional Development opportunities for whole staff teams, NQTs/RQTs, Lunchtime Organisers and Teaching Assistants (please refer to our CPD Opportunities flyer for further details).

A new and improved training schedule for 2020-2021 has been emailed to all schools along with a booking form.  If you are interested in any of the training on offer, or would like a personalised training package put together, please get in touch with outreach@bridgelea.manchester.sch.uk and the team will be glad to assist you in meeting your training requirements.

Our Autumn Term NQT behaviour courses were very well received and it is clear that new teachers benefitted from being able to meet colleagues and discuss their experiences in school. For details of the remaining NQT Twilight sessions for 2021 (face-to-face or Virtual) please click here.
