Mr Carroll

Hello and welcome to our class page for:

Class Willow.

In Class Willow, the teacher is Mr Carroll, teaching assistants are Ellen, Dan and Olivia.

We have PE on a Tuesday & Wednesday with our PE teacher Reo.

Special Breakfast happens each week on a Friday where we have lots of tasty food pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, beans, lots of fresh fruit which the children love. We give our certificates to our Rights Respecting Superstars and find out which Duty bearers have earned an extra special mention too.

This next half term our vehicle was all about food and we did a lot of things about dairy, how milk and cheese are made and also food from different countries.

During English this half term we have completed a big write on a book called “Gregory Cool” this book was about a boy who went to the carribean and how different life is over there regarding the food and the way people live. We also wrote a diary aswell.

The children thoroughly enjoyed this.

In maths we learnt about division, multiplying and also fraction.s

This half term we did all about the human body, we also completed a fact file on bones.

Did you know that we have more bones in our body as a baby than when you are an adult and also more than half our bones are in our feet and hands.

We have been doing online safety this half term and we use our ICT lessons to look up facts for our Vehicle, Food/Bones and we also used ICT to make our pop art

We made pop art this half term, we made an Easter display as a class. We also made some Islamic patterned stained glass pictures.

To view any of the wonderful work that we have done in Class Willow, please refer to your child’s Class Dojo Class Story and Portfolio where you will find news, pictures, and information about what
they have achieved, for pictures please look on our schools twitter page.
