Hello and welcome to Class Fir. In our class, the teacher is Mr Carroll and the teaching assistants are Max, Jess and Holly.

Special Breakfast happens each week on a Friday where we give our certificates to our Rights Respecting Superstars and find out which duty bearers have earned an extra special mention too.


This term in English our class are learning about North America. 


In Maths we have been learning about Divison and how to use the bus stop method, as well as Fractions. 


This term in PSHE we are focusing on the topic Changing Me, focusing on puberty and the changes that our children will see in themselves. 


In Science this term Fir class will be looking at humans. How do we age? 


This term in PE we are searching for the next Michael Jordan! We are practicing our basketball skills; learning about dribbling, passing to teammates, defense and shooting. 

Every Wednesday our class will be going swimming. We will be practicing our swimming in the deep and shallow pools, with some free time at the end to play with our friends! 


In ICT we are looking at making music. We will be using a programme to create our own music using different sounds, practicing layering and listening to what music sounds good together. 


We are focusing on mosiacs and collages in Art this term. We will be using lots of different textiles to create our masterpieces and will be looking out for the next big artist.


This term we are learning about Judaism. 


World Book Day is on 03/03/22 this term! Come dressed as your favourite character.
